More than just a simple graphic designer.
I've never imagined I'll become a graphic designer. I loved computers, I loved watching Star Trek - still do - and I wanted to become a teacher. One would say I've got pretty far off... well, not exactly. I always admired people who were able to draw and create amazing things. Just hit up the sketchbook, grab a pencil and draw something awesome. I ended up in an Art School where I had a wonderful teacher. I learned a great deal about art and graphic design that I still cherish. It's not just a profession for me, it's more like a lifestyle. I love creating, I love drawing and yes... I still love watching Star Trek. :)
More than just a geek.
Over the years I've happened to work many different places filling multiple positions from visual merchandiser, sales assistant through visual web and graphic designer. I've been woring for companies such as OBI, Vodafone, Brastop and Mail Boxes etc and I can safely say that I enjoyed every position that I had the fortune to work in.
I always loved working as a graphic designer. Creating great graphics, logos, posters, print ready flyers, brochures and magazine/newsletter layouts. Over the years I've learned a lot about social media, online marketing, product merchandising, photo retouching, magazine design, typography... and the list goes on. Printing is part of my skills and I always enjoyed holding the finished product in my hand. Smelling the freshly printed leaflets, business cards, or just simply holding the first printed magazine I've designed it's just something that really exciting as an experience.
